Keith Rose! Born September 29, 1949 in Toronto, Alberta Beloved author of more than 67 childrens stories, many of them set in rural Canada. Most recently, An Ambulatory Assistance for Kate, earned Keith the highly respected BookemDanno Prize. Hobbies include kite flying and constructing full scale topographical maps of history's great sea battles. Keith is working on his 83rd book Cheryl in the Crow's Nest, a moving story about an international cabal headed by an eleven year old with a chronic fear of ear infections, who thwarts a gang of 'tars' bent on stealing the remains of Patrick O'Brien. Keith has also published numerous proctological treatises under the pseudonym Callypygis. Keith was often fired mid-set by the Show Business Giants and subsequently rehired by encore when it was determined he, again, was the only person with keys to the tour van. A close friend of Desmond Child, Keith first got his start in music by supplying Child with many of his Top Ten hits with soul touching lyrics and tambourine harmonies. |
